Best Automatic Email Slicing Tools for Figma to Klaviyo (2026)

In short

If you care about price and still fixing cuts by hand, Autosliced is the pick for most teams. Stay glued to Figma? Grotto or Slicely. Live for manual cuts and ZIP? Email Snipper.

If you design emails in Figma and assemble them in Klaviyo, you already know the boring middle. Export a frame. Slice it. Compress the pieces. Upload image blocks. Write alt text. Add links. Do it again next week.

That middle is what this category is for. Not Figma-to-HTML rebuilds. Those are a different product family. Here we only score tools that turn a flat design into Klaviyo-ready sections.

Disclosure, said plainly: I build Autosliced. The scoring still docks us where we are weak (no plugin; AI alt text is a draft, not gospel). If that makes you distrust the whole page, use the per-tool notes and ignore the overall column.

Quick verdict

  • Best overall on our rubric: Autosliced wins on price + cut control, loses hard on “never leave Figma”
  • Best if the plugin is non-negotiable: Grotto Slice or Slicely
  • Best extras: Slicely (Footer Builder, Campaign Validator)
  • Best hand-placed cuts + ZIP: Email Snipper
  • Cheapest plugin credits: SlicePilot

How we scored

Weights match a normal production week, not a product-hunt feature list:

  • Core slicing (30%): does AI get you close, and can you fix the bad lines?
  • Klaviyo handoff (25%): template or blocks with alt and links, not a ZIP and a shrug
  • Price / value (25%): entry paid plan and how bad it gets at agency scale
  • Brands / team (10%): multi-brand without weird seat math
  • Figma plugin (10%): real convenience, not 40% of the grade

Plugin is only 10% on purpose. Exporting one frame is seconds. Paying an extra $30–$150/mo solely to skip that step is a preference, not a law of physics.

Scores

Out of 5. Overall is weighted, then rounded. We gave ourselves a 1 on plugin (we do not have one) and a 4 on alt + links (bulk AI alt needs a human pass on heroes and legal). That is the scar. Price is where we pull ahead.

Autosliced

Web app. Drop a PNG or JPG from Figma, Photoshop, or a screenshot. Format does not matter. Auto-slice proposes horizontal cuts and column breaks; you nudge, undo, redo. Footer exclusion, inspect mode, per-slice links, compression before publish, Klaviyo drag-and-drop template out the other side.

Pricing after early access (free through July 31, 2026): Solo $9, Studio $19, Agency $29. That is the gap vs Grotto starting around $48 and Slicely around $40.

Miss: no Figma plugin. If your team will only adopt something that lives inside Figma, stop reading and open Grotto or Slicely. I would rather lose that buyer than pretend we have a plugin.

Try Autosliced

Grotto Slice

Closest to “one click from Figma.” Plugin + web upload, auto-slice, AI alt, compression, Klaviyo template. Prototype clicks can map links; Footer groups can stay intact. That is real craft for Figma-native teams.

The bill is the problem for a lot of freelancers: Starter ~$48, then $98 / $198 / $348 by brand count. If budget is secondary and leaving Figma is a fight, Grotto is a serious pick. On our price-weighted score it sits just under Autosliced, and ahead if you reweight plugin to something like 40%.

Longer take: Autosliced vs Grotto Slice.

Slicely

Also plugin + web, strong automatic slicing into Klaviyo blocks, AI alt, retina exports. Differentiator is the extras: Footer Builder (image footer → live HTML text) and Campaign Validator. If those are on your weekly checklist, Slicely is not “bloat”; it is the product.

Paid plans after a trial land around $40/mo and climb with volume. Buy it for the extras. Buy Autosliced if you mostly need the core loop without paying for a validator you will ignore.

Autosliced vs Slicely

Email Snipper

Manual-first. You place the cuts. Edge snap, columns, footer crop, undo/redo. Klaviyo campaign/template/library export plus ZIP when you need another ESP. Free tier; Pro ~$12/mo.

Excellent if AI suggestions annoy you or multi-ESP export matters. Weak if “automatic” is why you searched. Autosliced vs Email Snipper

Email-Slicer

Web upload, section detection, review, alt text, Klaviyo-ready assets. Klaviyo Technology Partner badge (procurement sometimes cares). Free couple of uploads, then roughly $15 / $49 / $249. Solid middle. Less deep cut editing than Snipper or us.

SlicePilot

Figma plugin, credit-based (free tier with a handful of credits; Agency around $60/mo unlimited). Fine budget plugin path. Less of a refine-in-browser story.

Figaviyo

Plugin with HTML mode and image-sliced mode, useful if you bounce between the two. Public pricing on the community listing is thin, so value is hard to grade.

Nearby, not scored the same

Pushed exports Figma toward Klaviyo with campaign config; it is not really an image slicer. AutoSlice for Email (Scalero) is a Figma community plugin worth a look if you already live in that stack.

Marka, Kombai, Emailify, Email Love, Mailkick, MigmaAI rebuild HTML from layers/components. Different job. Image-sliced vs HTML if you are still choosing families.

How to choose without the table

Want the cheapest full loop with cuts you can still fight? Autosliced. Will not leave Figma? Grotto or Slicely. Need footer HTML builder + campaign QA? Slicely. Need ZIP and pure manual? Snipper. That is the decision tree. Everything else is taste.

FAQ

Is Autosliced “best” without a plugin?

On this rubric, yes, because plugin is 10% and price is 25%. Reweight the rubric for a Figma-only studio and Grotto or Slicely jump the line. Both answers can be right.

Why dock your own alt text score?

Bulk AI alt is fast and often fine on product tiles. It still invents soft language, misses promo codes, and can mangle brand names. We generate drafts; you should still scan heroes. A 5 would be dishonest.

Do I need a Figma plugin at all?

Only if process politics say so. Technically: export frame → slice → publish works.

Try it on a real email

Drop a Figma export into Autosliced, fix the cuts that miss, and push a Klaviyo draft. Free while early access lasts (through July 31, 2026).
